Ok, computer...
I’ve been hovering around here for a little bit, trying to find where to enter the fray. Unfortunately, perhaps inevitably, desperation has tipped my hand and I can no longer pass or match. It’s time to raise.
My primary focus in writing is the underlying ideas. I think this can be an unpopular view as I see writers sometimes mention how “everybody has ideas” and that “ideas are a dime a dozen.” Well, either way, it’s ideas that bring me to the blank page and perhaps that’s all that matters.
As for the writing that will be found here, it will likely cover several genres. I think inspiration can happen in all kinds of ways and in all kinds of places and I don’t fight it. For instance, the first piece I will post on here falls in the category of memoir. But almost all of my writing will criss and cross connecting an undercurrent of these ideas.
I’m sure things will change as it seems they always do, but I have to start somewhere.
I’ll probably publish fairly regularly, but I have no particular cadence I aim to maintain.
